As a freelance writer for an ecommerce website, I help them craft listicle-style content (and the occasional guides) with the intent of ranking high and driving conversions through informative content with direct CTAs.
For this article in particular, the focus was on using the client’s Amazon affiliate links rather than linking to their own store.
I was provided with a comprehensive brief that included all the products to add, as well as a few talking points to focus on. I wrote the entire body and ensured that all the necessary keywords/links were sprinkled naturally throughout the article.
I also wrote the meta description and excerpt, and collaborated with the in-house editorial team on a round of revisions before it was published.
